چکیده

About one-fifth of coal ash produced by the thermal power plants are bottom ash, and rest is fly ash. During past few decades, studies made to use either them as partial replacement sand in concrete manufacturing. The present study examines behaviour manufactured complete natural with an optimum mixture these ashes. effect ascertained through workability, strength tests, resistance acid attacks. It observed that containing 50% mix fine aggregate has nearly same compressive strength, 10% more split tensile higher flexural than control concrete, yet, 12.15% less density concrete. water absorption value volume pore space was found be for mixture. However, such performed better resisting sulphuric sulphate All conclusions suggested may used a suitable moderate environments.
